It is designed for learners who carry out a range of non-routine administrative tasks in a senior role and has been designed to accredit their achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the work context and aids career progression.

Who is this course for? No prior qualifications are required before learners register for this qualification; however you should already be working within the business administration sector, or be employed in a cross-sector role or function that involves responsibility for defined business related activities with an area of responsibility. This course is designed for those already in a senior position within business and administration, relevant job roles include:

  • Office Manager
  • Business Development Manager
  • Executive Assistant
  • Project Manager
  • Programme Manager

The purpose of this course is to develop the specific types of knowledge to underpin learners competence as well as the wider sector-related knowledge related to business and administration. This includes being able to identify and resolve administrative problems, being able to organise the work of an administrative function, being able to manage administrative workflows and being able to use both written and verbal communication in business.
