Course Information

Our suite of health and social care apprenticeships are suitable for those who are just starting out in the care sector, all the way up to care managers who are looking to gain new knowledge and skills in the sector. These qualifications are delivered within the workplace, with no day release to college.

NEW: Adult Care Worker Standard Level 2

Duration: 12-16 months
Awarding body: Skillsfirst

Who is this course for? The adult care worker apprenticeship is an integrated programme of knowledge and skills acquisition, developed alongside core behaviours expected of a competent worker operating in a regulated field.

This course accredits learners’ abilities to understand and carry out a range of tasks and responsibilities and has been designed to accredit their achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the work context and aids career
progression.

NEW: Lead Adult Care Worker Standard Level 3

Duration: 18-22 months

Who is this course for?

Leadership and Management in Care Level 5

Duration: 24 months

Who is this course for? This qualification aims to guide and assess development of knowledge, understanding and skills in management and advanced practice within health and social care and children and young people’s services. This qualification confirms competence in these areas and serves as the required qualifications for registration and regulatory requirements in the sector in England. This qualification has been created for roles such as:

  • Managers of residential services
  • Assistant managers of residential services
  • Assistant managers
  • Senior care workers
  • Day service managers
  • Day service assistant managers
  • Managers of domiciliary services
  • Assistant mangers of domiciliary services
  • Managers of community based services
