Unlock the door to job training with an Advanced Learner Loan
The door to education is being unlocked for students who perhaps don’t have the money to pursue their job training dream.
Advanced Learner Loans are available to most people over the age of 19 who have found the perfect course – but maybe lack the financial means to get the vital qualifications needed for career success.
The loans mean previous obstacles of course fees could no longer be there, opening doors to further education and life goals.
Most students aged 19 and over, studying at Level 3 to Level 6, will qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan from the UK government. It’s easy to apply for one, household income isn’t taken into account and there’s no credit check.
The loan will not be paid back until income is over £21,000 a year. Once this threshold has been reached, the learner then only pays back 9p in every £1 of what’s earned above it.
Damian Burdin, chief executive at Progress to Excellence Ltd, said: “There’s absolutely no reason why money should prevent anyone from grabbing the opportunity to undertake further study to boost their qualifications. Advanced Learner Loans are a great way to get that all-important foot on, or help to, progress up, the career ladder.”
“Advanced Learner Loans cover tuition fees for a range of Level 3 to Level 6 courses including general and vocational qualifications and Access to Higher Education diplomas.
“All learners need to be aged 19 or over on the first day of the course – there’s no upper age limit – and to be studying with a training organisation in England approved for public funding.”
Progress to Excellence offers a range of qualifications which are available through an Advanced Learner Loan. You can discuss your options further by calling 01462 488 218 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain further information.
