A little more about us

Our vision is to create a brilliant service for lifelong learning where all of our learners fulfil their potential and where we are seen as the provider of choice for employers, employees and stakeholders.

Progress to Excellence Ltd is part of Progress to Excellence Group Ltd and has more than 20 years of experience and success in providing training and assessment for organisations of all shapes and sizes.

We have over 140 colleagues throughout the country, with our head office located in Birkenhead, Wirral. However, despite our nationwide delivery, we still take a personalised approach to ensure our clients’ needs are met.

We deliver training in numerous sectors ranging from health and social care to warehousing and dentistry to retail. We provide our learners and employers with a quality provision and work closely with them to communicate regularly about progress, industry news and opportunities.

We deliver apprenticeship training in the workplace. We take a flexible training approach designed to fit around shift patterns and suit the needs of the learner and employer.

In operational control of the business, Damian draws on his wealth of experience to head-up Progress to Excellence where he puts emphasis on delivering high-quality training by committed staff.

Cath Goodwin

Cath Goodwin
Director of Business and Commercial Operations

Cath is responsible for the growth of the business and ensures an excellent level of service is maintained for both internal and external customers.

Louise Clarke

Louise Clarke
Head of MIS and Compliance

Louise manages information systems and reporting. Her team maintains audit and compliance systems to include financial reporting.  She also heads-up the Loans Department and its staff.

Katy Lennon

Katy Lennon
Head of Quality and Operations

Katy reviews and shapes our quality function to ensure achievement of customer service and quality objectives. She also ensures compliance with all key stakeholders with particular focus on Ofsted, ESFA, Ofqual, Matrix and IIP.

Steven Gabriel

Steven Gabriel
National Training Manager

Ste ensures timely success rates through the performance management of our delivery team. He leads on delivering high quality, flexible and responsive provision in line with regulatory body requirements.
